I think that Lonmin settling their strike with a rediculously high wage rise was actually a very shrewd business move. It was a foregone conclusion that there would then be strikes almost immediately everywhere else in the mining sector for equally astronomical wage demands which would bring all their competitors to their knees. Very shrewd !!

Strikes where people get killed because they want to do their job are not a strike. It is a terrorist act to intimidate the public. When you stop the food supply and medical supply it becomes a terrorist grip and therein we see the truth. These strikers can justify death so can our convergent. Send in the military shoot to kill. If the strikers/terrorists can take lives and intimidate then the public has the right to protection... It is as simple as that.

We need another Marikana!!! Only problem is, then people all over SCREAM bad police force.

I have no problem if these people fight for better wages, but the moment they start, damaging private property, killing and hurting other people, then they have turned them self into criminals. My take then is!! SHOOT THE F@@2ING s#$T out of them, even if it mean they get killed. You want to be barbaric, then expect to be treated like a barbarian.

If I see an idiot throwing a stone at a vehicle then I WILL drive over him.

My little business suffers because those clots throw petrol bombs at trucks. They think that they have the right to destroy a privately owned R1million truck because they want R500 a month more.

We should round them up and giving them 6 lashes per stone throwed. Do it in public so that all can see their asses burn!

So it's OK to drive over them, but you can't shoot them?

Sorry, cheap shot - I know there is a difference between the two. Kinda interesting where you draw the line though.

All of you are still stuck in thinking within the "rules" and inside national "bubble"... Progressive thinking is the way to go. total collapse preparedness.

Has anyone given a thought to how long their "localle" lasts without food/water supplies before SHTF?

OK I'll stop with the negativity. Everyone will hold hands and dig a community well, singing koombaya and helping everyone out. Everyone will share whatever they have and the wise hand of the government will guide everyone to the promise land of plenty. Hahhaahahahahhaha

We the people “all colours and religions” have the right to live our lives within safety, have the right not to be intimidated and have the right to demand protection against those who wish to do us harm.

These strikers are acting like terrorists... It is time for our Government to show that they will not tolerate terrorism and respond decisively. It is there Responsibility to keep us safe.
