    2012 perhaps?
This is in response to the negative publicity given to Durban every year over Christmas and New Year. All our beaches are overcrowded in high season, including Ballito, Clifton, Camps Bay, Strand, Orient Beach, Summerstrand, Kings Beach, Hobie Beach etc etc.

Most of the bad publicity that Durban is getting is sensationalist and unwarranted. There are days such as Easter, Christmas and New Year that we avoid the beach. The rest of the year and especially in winter from May to June, this is the warmest place to be.

Just a bit tricky posting a picture of the beach as it'll be in December 2013 at this point

Not paying attention to the date is obviously a blonde moment. Yes it is 2012.

Nothing beats the weather in Durban at this time of the year. Predicted 28 C totay. Windless evenings make for outdoor dining - maybe a braai after the rugby tonight?

I envy you guys! It's freezing here in the south of Joburg! Oh, how I detest Winter!

Oh, we also had some cold weather today. About 19 or 20. I almost put my jersey on...
