How do I get off 'facebook' when I never joined?

They have a page with my email address and birthdate which they got from 'Noseweek'
I know that is where it came from because they are the only people who have my name wrong in a certain way and it is the same wrong name that is on the page?

I tried logging in but they need a password and I go in circles trying (forgot your password?) seems I need a password to get the password, or I have to join to unsubscribe. I DON'T WANT TO BE ON FACEBOOK!!

I need an address to send a cease and desist or an unsubscribe email to???

Facebook does have a terms of use page here. This seems relevant:

4.1 You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.

If you believe someone is posing as you or you have a removal request, I suspect the starting point would be here.

Thanks Dave but I can only go to the facebook landing page, it gives me nothing and without a password I cannot get any more information or addresses of where to complain to

If you can view the profile then follow the instructions, if you can't view the profile then you'll have to get someone else to report it on your behalf.

If someone created a profile pretending to be you:

1. Go to the profile
2. Scroll to the bottom of the left column and click "Report/Block This Person"
3. Click "This profile is pretending to be someone or is fake"
4. Choose "Pretending to be me" from the type drop-down
5. Click "Continue" to submit your report

I managed to change the password whoever set it up used and deleted my profile, problem is it takes 14 days to become effective.
