Does DSTV know what they doing?

DSTV has got to be the most ridiculous service provider. I have the full package and all programs are on repeat!! They dare to call me to offer a promotion with access to more entertainment but then I must pay more!! Ridiculous!!

What adds more insult to injury is the amount of adverts one must endure even after the subscription payment. Seems they only have a handful of advertisers, as the same adverts are played every 5 minutes add infinitum on all channels, and almost all at the same moment in time/hour slot.

If I was not paying the subscription, I would accept the adverts.

All they have going for them is Supersport. Without that they wouldn't be in the market anymore.

I know many people using streaming now with the likes of netflix etc... and uncapped fibre. The only reason they still have DSTV - Supersport

That is actually the main reason I maintain my subscription and the news.

Do you know of any means to watch the sport channels and news without DSTV?

I ask again, is there any way to watch sport channels and news without DSTV? If there is, I would cancel my subscription.

I am so f^&*% tired of adverts on every platform...i dont waste my money on DSTV...what people are doing is sharing...you are allowed a couple of devices...so one person has DSTV and sell the code to a couple other people (mostly family members).

You cant open anything anymore more without having to view and ad somewhere on the page...i was using tapatalk to view this forum on my ipad...the ads got too much so i am back to viewing it on the laptop.

I use a live stream to view sport...but man the ads just become a pain in the crack.

A mate of mine left his DSTV decoder at my house for a couple of weeks...a year later we had another party so he left it again...i couldnt believe that the same stuff i watched a year earlier was still on the same.
Comments are based on opinion...not always facts....that's why people use an alias.

I've just learnt about Modbro via my TV box and found a few sport channels!!! And no ads, only at the beginning and end. So I guess I'll be cancelling my subscription.

                        cancelled my dstv subscription

only use streaming services to watch series and movies when time allows,

4mb line aint the best but works with no stuttering, dstv streaming was horrendous, that was my major deciding factor to cancel.

                        dont watch rugger or footie
