In helping a client, I have the following question:
My supplier is Namibian (I am SA), and they have invoiced me for services rendered in Namibia.
From a Namibia perspective, am I correct in assuming they will charge Namibian VAT of 15% on the invoice, since the service was rendered in Namibia?
Then, am I now allowed to claim the VAT on this invoice, or no?
I don't think I can, but this just seems unfair given the fact that I am technically paying 15% more...
