For the lack of better phraseology, showcase some complete contracts for easy download in word format, separate and apart from what you make from drafting contracts.
5. Contract Sale of a business
To lend perspective from Aristotle, the simple acorn is merely trying to do what it ought to do in practice, namely to become an oak tree.[1] Aristotle refers to this as “telos.” Essentially it's ultimate objective is striving to become what an acorn is eventually designed to become despite climate.[2] Time will tell if actual results meet desired results with this thread and it becomes what I envisage.
PS: I suspect that that there will be a lot of interest in the agreement of lease of a flat.

- Have you ever come across websites on a “planet far away,” where on the face of it, a document you require is available for download? Upon attempting to download the document, you informed that you have to pay a subscription fee, upload documents in turn or face some other difficulty such as half the document being blurred out.
- The purpose of this thread is for you to avoid such difficulties. The further purpose is for drafters of contracts to showcase what they have and what they can offer.
- I cannot anticipate at this juncture how this thread will do in practice going forward
- It is beyond the scope of this thread to address the theory and practice of the South African Law of contract. To this end, I don’t intend to address requirements for a valid contract, breach of contract and defences to breach of contract to name a few
- To get things started off, please find attached five contract in word format:
- Contract for minor building works
- Contract agreement of lease of a flat
- Contract Sub contract for non-nominated sub-contractors
- Contract for small building works without an architect
