Nato phonetic alphabet: Correctly reading back an email

I don’t know about you, but I’ve often had to ask individuals telephonically to read back an email.

I’ve heard people use petrol to articulate ‘P,’ p for petrol, m for mat, a for Amanda etc.

The Nato phonetic alphabet which is also known as the spelling alphabet, as you use it to correctly spell out on paper one of a variety of things such as an email address is most effective in use..

    Letter Phonetic letter
    A Alpha
    B Bravo
    C Charlie
    D Delta
    E Echo
    F Foxtrot
    G Golf
    H Hotel
    I India
    J Juliet
    K Kilo
    L Lima
    M Mike
    N November

That is exactly how we learned it in the navy in 69, it is the same as was used by the English speaking Allies during the 2nd World War.

I don't believe it is used by say the French I can see confusion when a Frenchman with a heavy accent tries to say CHARLIE HOTEL JULIET
it will come out as 'SHARLEE OUTEL SZULIETTE and the rest of the net will ask WTF?

Suppose you came across a character who insisted that he wanted to read his email address back to you, to reflect what address he truly gave you and he does so as follows:

“Could I please read back the address you gave me just now:

It’s b for burial, e for eulogy, t for Terblance, a for abuduct, M for Moses Sithole, e for eulogy again(please did you get that); dot: d for disease, a for abduct, c for crook, e for eulogy S for Selebi, g for Guptagate, a for abduct, t for terblance, e for eulogy AT f for funeral, a for abduct, I for Infection. T for terbalnce, h for hopeless; dotCOM to articulate the following email address:

    Bettame.dacesgate@faith.com"

A very good morning to you Andy,

Coming from you I’ll take this as a huge compliment! As a matter of fact, you the individual I would approach should I have any IT and/or computer related problem. I remain the end-user.
I prepare the post on a word document (word 2010), I then copied, cut and paste. When pasted the table didn’t reflect with rows and columns. So I edited the post, deleted the table from the post, copied just the table again and posted. The table was reflected. I'm most certainly not adept with BB code. I look to you guys for guidance here!

Vanash's copy and paste table method works best if you have the text entry box in WYSIWYG mode (left hand icon in toolbar of quick reply box).

Otherwise, if you're familiar with the HTML table markup method, go with Source code mode, Go Advanced (button below Quick Reply box), know the dimensions of the table you want to create, then use the Table button in the toolbar to get the basic structure in place. From there it's a matter of putting in the cell contents and tweaking some of the formatting elements if necessary.
The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.
