I dont think you can avoid the official document but i am aware there are measures being taken to do it all online, whether this has happened or not I'm not sure.. Will be worth while following up. I know there will be blank forms online and you have to apply for the "number".
But to auto fill the last section for responsibility will be a big head ache avoided. Although the entire document does not have to be written in your hand writing you could get your secretary to do some Pt. Bare in mind we aren't allowed to make mistakes on these forms.
Hope something helps..
If someone can be trained to do parts of the COC reliably, (repetitive or easy to identify from other documentation) get them to fill in those parts and then fill in the variable technical stuff yourself.
Participation is voluntary.

thanks for the feedback. i think i will get somebody to fill in the easy parts.
The actual Certificate is only 1 page with "I have entered the number of this certificate on the attached test report(s)" printed on it.
The Test Report can be your own - company logo, etc (computer generated)
It must simply be in the format as described in SANS 10142, this means that you can leave out parts that are not relevant
i.e. 'name of building' if it is a domestic installation.
