That would be the response I would expect from 90% of electrical contractors in SA.
Just a note with regards to the fuse in the light fitting, a fuse would be more of a pain in the butt, if you have ever installed a PioLED lamp the wrong way it creates a dead short between live and neutral which results in the circuit breaker tripping in the DB.
If there was a fuse, you would have to take a sample and drive all the way back to the wholesaler, the easy solution, just cut the wire and bypass it.
