An association/platform/group for the little guys

Million rand projects, 10 plus staff and dealing with the public requires a support structure, like an association of sorts.

However when you are a little guy, every single little extra cost counts.

I have been both, I was a member of an association for many many years.

Would it not be better for everyone in the long run to be included in the industry, big and small.

I speak to a lot of small operators and they all have the same goals as all us do, they want to do the right thing they want the support and a platform to share their knowledge and discuss issue and challenges they face on a daily basis.

With all the technology available to day, it is easy to just start a group and share, as many have already do.

I want to hear from all the little guys, what are your thoughts?

One thing that most trade type people battle with and I am one of those, ADMIN and paperwork , it is the only reason my business is not a multi million operation.

I hate doing paperwork, still to this day I have job book which I use to run my little business, the same way I have for 32 years.

I have also considered getting all the little guys to setup a platform so that on those days when you just cant take on anymore work, you can just post a message and see if anyone is looking for work or can assist to get on top of things.

I have been doing this for a long time and I know the struggle.
