The vehicle was purchased second hand.

The issue is not the purchase, the issue is the wiring harness which is apparently a faulty unit, fitted by Bosal fitment centres and the 1 year warranty, which i am told by other Towbar centres is a common problem. Unfortunately we dont do recalls on faulty components in this country. I have a choice, either replace the electronic component with one from a more reliable supplier which backs their product for R1200 or Bosal will replace the unit for R850. My other concern is I need to find out which company supplies these faulty units. You know the story, everything is made in China just with a different label. I do know there are 2 different manufacturer/suppliers in Pretoria, just need to make sure i get the reliable one.
