If I were a DA leader...

Seremane, Trollip, and Zille, the DA leadership candidates, answer questions on a range of topics in an M&G article.

I think, based purely on these responses I would back Seremane for leadership. There are two key things in my reasoning,

    1. he has a balanced approach focussed on humanity, rather than on black vs. white issues,
    2. he avoids taking an Anti-ANC approach, which I feel has been one of the party's weakest points over the last few years.

The question one should ask (if the DA is ever to make a serious bid as the party in power) is - Who would best make a good leader of the country, not just the DA party?

Joe Seremane would fill the job very well, IMHO. Just what the country needs.
The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.
