This is the tricky part...you can have the best product known to man...unless you market it to the "right" people on the right platforms...it wont sell.

I also agree with Ian on cash flow, which is the essential fuel for your business. Without cash you cannot buy materials or pay for essentials. However, as I have indicated in another post, the marketing guru, Peter Drucker said:"Because the purpose of the business is to create a customer, the business has two - and only two basic functions: Marketing and innovation."

You need to identify your market and then tell them about it (see quote above). Without customers you are nothing. You also have to be innovative to stand out from the crowd and not be a "Me too" business.
