There is a difference though - the US twin towers was concocted to be an external threat to bring the nation together and to boost their economy. The South African twin towers is an internal affair!
We don't have proof that the Americans did it to themselves. The point I am making is that once Affirmative Action was racialized it gave birth to BEE which, because of the "racial" criteria, is really a synonym for Black Economic Enrichment. So there has been little "transformation", except that some Blacks have joined the elite.
AA was/is necessary. However the criteria should not be race, ethnicity or skin colour ... but subsisting apartheid induced disadvantage.
By racialzing it, SA, at a stroke, adopted the racist culture that was at the heart of apartheid, i.e,
a) Blacks are entitled to jobs and contracts;
b) Whites are to be denied;
c) Coloureds, Indians and Chinese might get a job or contract if they claim and prove they are Black.
A further problem with racialised AA is that it is keeping our nation preoccupied/obsessed with race, ethnicity and skin colour.
So in the psyche of our growing children "Black good, White bad, Coloured not to good ..."
Pretty vomitus stuff whichever way you want to bake it
Hmm...like the big round hole at ground level in the Pentagon made by a big aeroplane - no motors, seats, wheels, bits n pieces (must have been the aliens that took all the bits away)We don't have proof that the Americans did it to themselves.
Buidings exploding at floor level and collapsing straight down. A third building collapsing due to...uh...( the garden gnomes or maybe the fairies)
Nee, ou broer...don't kid yourself - ah I know, those terrible terrorists sent their 3 well trained pilots who had 10 hours training on a Cessna 150 (and 2 days on a Playstation) to drive those big Boeings precisely into those buildings because the Americans wouldn't say they are sorry for not being Moslem!
Eish.....
