NCA
As a small business we have only a handful of clients whom are offered 30 day credit terms. Most pay us within 60 to 90 days. I am concerned that our standard policy document does not meet the new NCA wording and don't know how to qualify our clients against possible credit risk. Credit Guarantee do not vet any internal policy documents and to do credit checks for us they want us to belong to them on a monthly basis for a fee in excess of R5000.00. I understand that this does afford us some measure of cover for bad debt but as we are fortunate enough not to have had any bad credit, feel I am effectively paying for debt cover that up to now we have not needed. What are the requirments covering the NCA in terms of my credit vetting our existing and/or new clients and where can I obtain the correct wording to structure our credit application documents?
