this fan is an extraction fan...am i missing something or should there a a hole or something somewhere else in the panel to create airflow.
this panel has an IP rating with rubber seals around the inside of the door.
i couldnt understand why the airflow was almost non exsistant...yet when i opened the door suddenly there was a breeze from the fan.
i was told that it is not a good idea to extract air because it will draw air from the closest hole and the rest of the chamber will not get much air movement...beter to fill the chamber with air then have outlet...in this case any hole would have helped to get air movement.
another interest comment i heard last week was the exhaust hole needs to be twice the size of the inlet...anyone have any comments about this statement.
this installation was done by one of the so called reputable power factor companies....eeiish
