Thanks for that, Duncan. Presumably the list is only effective if the emails or SMS's you don't want to get are coming from members of the DMA.
Has anyone here tried to actually JOIN the DMA through their website? I'm usually quite good at these kinds of things, but it took me a while to work out what they wanted me to do.
And I stopped when they asked for details of "The person who can authorise your company to join the DMA and will authorise payment" without saying what the payment was...
Looking at their members list it appears to cover a number of large corporates who regularly contact me, so I am hoping it reduces those calls/mails.
I have not yet received a confirmation that I have been added to the list, so I am not too sure about the efficacy of it yet....
Quick update: since my info was processed I have not received any calls from the usual suspects trying to sell me new life/funeral/credit card insurance. Also no letters or emails. Cool.
