    Grid failures in suburbs

Another weekend of grid failures and interesting challenges.

This weekend a new challenge surfaced, LED light switching on in properties where there are no backup systems. Measuring 120 VAC on properties that shouldn't have any voltage.

One property which did have a backup system, far away for the other sites, the light were on and nothing out of the ordinary, until we switched off the main switch and ELU on the non essential part, suddenly the power indicator LED and the surge arrester LED's lit up.

    Any ideas?
