Retained Income in SAGE One online

    Good Day
    I need some help please.
We work on SAGE One cloud accounting.

I have been given financials for the prior year, but I'm battling to fix the retained income. The prior years were never done by the previous bookkeeper, so it now falls to me to make all the corrections.

Hi - to adjust the retained income in Sage Business Cloud Accounting, you need to adjust either an income account or expense account for the prior year. If there is no prior year data, then go to Company, Opening Balances and adjust the retained income account there - but note that you will need to adjust another account's opening balance to keep the Trial Balance in balance.
