Yes I can believe its that time of the year already, Christmas decorations and carols by candle light.

An interesting time for many small and large companies, silly season has arrived again. Have you set aside the money for leave pay and bonuses, started ramping down the work load as it becomes more and more difficult to get teams to stay motivated, as the customers demands increase and everyone wants everything finished by the 15th.

You have to tolerate the lack of motivation and the smell of alcohol on weekends, when staff arrive at work.

It is my favorite time of year, I get stuck in and work my butt off, staff go home during the shutdown, the roads are nice and quite, and I can just get on with my work.

Working during this crazy time of year, means no time and money is wasted in shopping centers, pissing money against the wall that you dont really have or wasting your Christmas bonus on stuff that nobody really needs, especially in these difficult times.

I sound like the Grinch

Still a little behind, but almost back to where I was back in 2020 (dont have enough money to pay the bills for the next 6 months, yet) , however there is enough work lined up to keep me busy for the next 6 months, and recovering slowly but surely thanks to stage 6 load shedding.
