So it appears that the Electrical Energy Minister is in the process of appointing/formulating an Energy Industry Ombudsman to oversee SSEG and Solar water Heating
Hopefully it is not just another expense and over inflated government department that is going to attempt to do what Department of Employment and Labour should be doing

This is where owners & contractors involved with Small Scale Solar PV and Solar Water Heating Systems can find assistance with installations that:

Are not delivering according to expectation.
Have not been completed as per the agreed scope of the project.
Do not seem to comply with regulations and standards.
While the framework of the Energy Industry Ombudsman – South Africa is developed and refined to allow for larger and more complex cases the EIOSA will assist with complaints for both solar water heating and solar PV installations.

Services offered are voluntary and free of charge.
