If I install a socket outlet, I issue either an initial coc or a supplementary coc together with a test report, depending on whether there is an existing coc or not.
If there's an existing coc, I issue a supplementary to the existing coc together with a test report for that socket outlet only.
If there's no existing coc, I issue an initial coc together with a test report for that socket outlet only.
Sections 3 and 4 on the test report caters for one to exclude certain parts of the installation and to describe fully only the part/parts covered by the coc, irrespective of whether it is an initial or supplementary coc.
