I have been working in this industry as a hands on sparkie for 40 years, self employed for 33 of them, done a bit of elctrical work even changed a few plug tops
Someone asked me the other day if I am a solar DIYer, my answer was of course I am, I am also do a little wood working on the side
No need to close down, not much competition out there, IF I had to do a real crap job and feel bad about the quality of workmanship, it would still be better than 99 % of crap I see on a daily basis. Any fool can work in the electrical industry, we winning the race to the bottom.
