    Question SAGE BUSINESS CLOUD ACCOUNTING

    Hi,

Please can somebody help me with down loading from Standard Bank into Sage Cloud Accounting. I have read about the cvs/excel changes to make first but have no luck?

    Hi Hayley

Firstly, I assume that you're referencing "Sage Business Cloud Accounting" Sage has many accounting products used globally with very similar names.

The best option would be to connect the bank feeds so that your banking transactions download automatically (to to to Banking, Transactions, Manage Bank Feeds). But if that's not going to work for you, then the best option would be to download your bank statements as an OFX format. If you can't find that, you should be able to download the CSV file and select "Standard Bank CSV" when importing.

Otherwise the general CSV formatted file should only have 3 columns: Date, Description and Amount. The first line must contain the column headings Date, Description and Amount. The rest of the lines will contain each bank statement line.
