I attempted to contact the electricity department to enquire about the SSEG, I still havent had a reply, so we are already off to a bad start.

I then searched the internet and found the relevant information and documentation.

I filled out all the document sand submitted them, let see what happens.

Has anyone else tried to register a system, who would like to share your experience.

There is too much chatter on social media and too little facts, so lets do this right and get the facts.

Is the electricity department equipped to register SSEG's ?

Do they have the correct metrring available?

Do they have the manpower to deal with SSEG registrations?

What are the costs involved in registering a SSEG?

Note! this is for a domestic application.

I am sure there are many registered in the Cape, because it seems things work in the Cape, however in the rest of the country I am not sure how many systems are registered.

I see Sunsynk will intergating their system with Eskom.

Could the tax rebate and intergration have something to do with registration and identifying people who are not registered.

Load shedding and solar systems are in the main stream media, why dont they create more public awareness on how solar works who can install systems and who should register and all that important stuff.
