    It Depends on your niche. Some items won't do well on social media, let's say you are advertising truck spares, people tend to Google that. Restaurants and fashion however will do well on social media. Content Marketing is decent and can overlap with a lot of the traditional digital marketing strategies.

    It's usually always best to follow a few strategies rather than put your eggs into one basket. Especially given the volatility of the platforms we use, which will always act in their own interest, this is especially true in your area small-medium size business.

    Content marketing will disappear in time as Google waits for the chat GPT hype to die down Bard will be providing answers. In the same way, the rich snippets have stolen traffic from websites so will Bard.

    The end game for Google... get you onto PPC. That is unfortunately where we are headed

    Digital marketing can be summarized into a few activities (this is not a full list) and also includes how all these items are being changed to force you to use paid advertising.

    • Email marketing (still the cheapest with the biggest ROI)
    (new stricter spam rules to be applied in 2024, also drop mail in the marketing section of Gmail accounts which not many people go through. )
    • PPC Google (better suited if you have high-value items, though shopping ads can help with lower-cost items.)
    • PPC Facebook ( more of a brand awareness tool than anything.) ---
    (organic reach down below 1% of even the people who follow your page)
    •Organic Adwrods (The hardest but the best payoff if you can come up with the right searches.) ---
    (giving ranking preference to bigger companies and directories.)
