I have tried crimping these thin stranded silicon cables I am using for connecting the 48 VDC batteries to the inverter with both a hydraulic crimper and and hand quad crimper, and found that in both cases if you wiggle or twist the lug slightly it comes loose.

I am thinking it might be better to use my indent crimper to ensure a secure tight fix.

I crimped the battery terminal to the wire and it is tight and secure, I have tried twisting and pulling on the wire and it seems to be working. The battery terminal lugs is a much thicker walled lug.
