Which is better - Isotherm or Sisalation?
I am building a small cottage for my daughter and will be starting the roof soon.
I wish I could afford to put both a foil and a "Think Pink" type insulation in the roof, but I am already over budget, so have to choose one or the other.
Our area is fairly hot in summer and pretty chilly in winter. It is often damp.
From an installation point of view, the Isotherm would be the simplest for me, but I am concerned that on it's own it will not be sufficient.
I also read that condensation in the roof could be an issue?
I am building the cottage myself on a farm, so don't need to comply with any regulations.
Any first hand advice would be appreciated.
