Exclamation Converting Pastel Partner 17 files to Excel

We are in a predicament where we ended our contact with the accountancy firm, on good note, even paying them ALL that was required as per the contract.

Yet, they refuse to supply us with our data in Excel format and is only willing to supply the Pastel files.

We are not continuing on Pastel so don't see why we should buy a license just so we can convert the files.

Is there some place online providing such a service or someone here or maybe tips on doing ourselves?

    Hi Jacques,

You can send the Pastel backup file to me, and I can send you whatever data you require in Excel format.

Please email me directly to arrange.

You can download and install the latest version from the Sage website. If you register it as a Demo package, you won't be able to process once you have reached the transaction limit (200 or 300 entries). Extract your database into the Pastel19\companyname folder. In the File - Open menu, select add new company and choose that folder. You will need a password from them to be able to open the database. You will be able to view all the reports you need and print them to excel. You are also able to use the File - Import and Export wizard, which allows you to export to csv files as well.

    Hi there,

If you are continuing with Sage Business Cloud, you can send the file to have it converted and imported into your company.
