    Property electrical safety

1/ "I had an DOL registered electrical contractor fit 1 x socket outlet on my property, now the entire electrical installation must be 100 % safe"

2/ " I was given a COC when I purchased my house, it must be 100% safe"

If you believe either one of these statements, chances are you may just be that stupid.

Sorry to say but chances are that if you had one socket outlet installed, the odds that a supplementary was issued is pretty slim, even if you have an original COC.

The COC issued for the sale of a property indicates that the property is "reasonable safe", not 100 % safe, chances are if the COC cost less than R3500.00 they barely skimmed through the visual inspection and there might have been the odd test carried out.
