Why this forum is a step in the right direction for the electrical industry.

I believe this forum is a good start to sorting out many issues we have in the elctrical industry.

It is an open platform for anyone to comment, it is not closed to a selected few, it is free for anyone to join and stand on a soap box and air your view.

You can say whatever you want, right or wrong, if someone feels your statement is incorrect they can stand up and correct you.

From my experience, the moderators are fair and will delete posts if you target someone unfairly.

You can sign up with an alias if you are worried about asking "stupid" questions. If you dont ask you will never know.

I have been in this industry for many many years and still learning everyday, I look forward to people correcting information that I may share which is not accurate, it is the only way I will learn.

We have a few smart people already on this forum and I know there are many others who could have a positive impact on this forum.

Being a small business with limited resources, I learn a lot from others who contribute on this forum.

By the way, the only way I can enjoy the content is by using my laptop with tons of ad blocks. I used my ipad for a while, the ads drove me to leave the forum until I figued out the laptop can block all the ads.

I might get a new alias because I dont want the notifications crowding my inbox.

I have registered a new gmail account and have a pay as you go sim for the contact details, which will be used to register on forums and groups, then all the junk mail can vanish onto a server somewhere in the cloud.

Agreed this platform is incredible ! I have learnt so much and also keep being inspired to better my self.

    Thanks everyone !

And for the ads and all j use Tapatalk and I paid a year subscription so no ads and it's seems faster. If it was not for Tapatalk I would be on it very very little as I'm not always with my laptop.
