I've been fortunate to have travelled extensively in Europe, some African countries, visited China and Cuba, but South Africa is still a favourite destination.

From arid desert to rain forest, grassy plains to majestic mountains (often snow-capped in winter) and waterfalls. From a dry, desolate Karoo to forests with abundant wildlife. Coastal lagoons and wonders with incredible flora, indigenous to South Africa. From the Cape winelands to or fabulous game reserves (with the big 5 and also the the secretive 7. They are the Aardvark, African Wild Cat, Cape Porcupine, Civet, Large-spotted Genet, Pangolin and Serval. These animals are notoriously difficult to find as they are shy, rare, nocturnal and of course...secretive!)
