From my experience with Fluke products ... after sales service is not required ... it just works ... however sometimes with the more advanced equipment ... having a person who can assist with technical setup and operation is a huge help.
I have also been watching the TIS MFT ... Dave Savery electrical punts it on youtube.
Personal I stick with brands I trust ... unfortunately in some cases like Hilti ... they make a really good quality product ... their support for small business is non existent or should I say they dont give a rats a$$ about the little guy ... so you have to decide if you are prepared to pay 10 times the price of other brands for a disposable product... or buy though a company with a lot of employees which will result in a massive discount ... Hilti discount structure works on employee count not quantity of purchase ... how do I know this ... I sub contract to big companies and get to purchase huge volumes of product for specific sites ... if you knew how bad you get screwed as a company with few employees ... you would probably not support Hilti out of principle ... It is so sad.
When you buy equipment for R50 000.00 or R100 000.00... the difference between the 10 % discount and 45 % makes you pay attention ...so much so that the 15 % vat makes your 10 % discount seem silly.
