With domestic ... You cant negotiate the tariff ... the tariffs are standard for the application ... IE ... domestic ... business and general ... time of use etc ... what you can negotiate is the administration fee ... some might charge 5 % and other 15 % ... and even that I couldnt get a straight answer from the prepaid company ... but then you could be living in a complex which buys buy electricity.

Sometimes even the tariff ... for example if you are in a big industrial complex ... the property management group could have the entire roof covered in solar panels and they could be getting a better tariff due to bulk buying ... from the supplier.

You need to make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into prior to signing a rental agreement. There are metering companies which specialise in this kind of stuff ... once again they will want their slice of the pie ... everyone wants a piece of the cake.
