    New SANS 10142-1:2021 (ed. 3.o1)

A question ... back in the green book day you could purchase updates... remove the pages and replace with the new updates ... I take it this no longer applies.

Time to increase the hourly rates or markup to try absorb these extra costs

Talk about pissed off ... I thought I would do the right thing and buy ed 3 on the 8/11/2021 for over a R1000 ... and just spent another R1000+ this morning to see a few minor changes

That is how it worked here in the past ... you purchased the book and them got the new updates and removed the old pages and slotted in the new pages ... maybe it still works like that here ... I am sure someone tell update us.

We need to form a small group and chip in some bucks and then we can share it and get all the new amendments and print those pages to add to our current books hahaha. Another grand for the new book is crazy....just dropped 450 to get my nose tickled and told negative on a test so my missus can go to work Monday... this country is taking the piss and just want us to pay pay pay with nothing in return

Ahhh man so sorry ! It is so crazy, we get these books to stay informed, how many other electricians purchase these books and keep them up to date... I wager not many at all!

ED 3.01 is now on my Christmas wish list...

Those changes that you mentioned, are they major and warrents getting the update sooner than later or can it hold off a bit?

The message you sent they seem like major and important changes and info

I will go through it ... its 4126 kb smaller and 19 pages less than ed 3.0 ... I am assuming they have deleted a pile of stuff.
