I have been installing a ton of RGB bulbs ... flood lights and strip lights ... it is worse than TV remotes ... it is a pity someone hasnt got smart and come up with a universal remote to control all RGB lights.
I have a cardboard box with so many remotes I dont even know which ones work which lights anymore.
The problem is trying to find one supplier who offers a full range of functional RGB lights.
Tips when purchasing RGB lights -
Firstly make sure the RGB light has memory ... there is nothing worse than going around to all the lights to resync the colour or brightness every time the lights switch on/off.
Secondly try find lights which work on the same app. ... if the lights doesnt work on an app like smart life or Alexa home kit etc ... stay away from it.
Watch out for "washed out" colouring CRI (colour rendering index) ... by this I mean the reds look like pink ... or the light look like water colours rather than oil colours.
In some applications it doesnt really matter ... for example if you mount a strip light into the C channel of an awning ... or if you are just looking for ambient light.
