What to do with gas stove plug

I see the gas stove plug problem had been severely debated in the past Gas regulations and building regulations from the past state one thing sans 10142-1 edition 2 say not much about gas stoves that work with gas and electricity

Scenario: I have to install a brand new gas/electrical stove fixed in a cupboard with four gas stove plates and an electrical igniter that comes with a 16A plug. Gas is heavy and go to the floor. Where do I place the 16A plug that feeds the stove without cutting the short lead?

If I have an air brick below or next to the plug, for ventilation, and the top edge of the plug is more then 200mm away from the bottom of the stove top can I deem it save and issue an COC??

Maybe the new edition 3 have some guidelines for gas/electrical appliances?
