    NOVA and DIN sockets

Hi. In a new industrial installation we cannot install NOVA or DIN type welding sockets anymore and therefore they cannot be installed in a new plant within an existing installation even though this plant already has probably 100+ Nova type sockets.
My question is does anyone know why these have been outlawed and what is used to replace them.

if you plug a Nova plug in and slightly knock the male plug sideways it looses a phase. it doesnt have switch interlocking. it is really rubbish. worst invention ever. terrible IP rating...
use the industrial switched socket outlets made by Gewiss , Scame etc
