I used to be able to edit the description when invoicing. Now it won't allow me, only using the default account setting.

Is this when using inventory? Go into the item in question (Edit Inventory Itemfile). Under the processing options on the first tab select "Change While Invoicing" instead of "Fixed Description / Cost" and save the item. You should now be able to edit the description when processing.
