We live in Merweville, in the Great Karoo, Western Cape. The workers are not familiar with their rights, specially the farm workers.

We have an employee who worked as a Domestic worker for one Employer, since 2009. She was not registered for UIF. Due to a medical condition the employee was booked of the Doctor at the end of December. She suffered from 3 strokes during the end of December.

Can she claim UIF and can she claim her leave pay since 2009. She never received any leave pay and worked all her years employed by the employer without taking one day leave.

Can someone assist me with what the law states about rear leave pay.
