Hi VLW,
According to the SARS website, companies involved in farming, mining or forestry are eligible for diesel rebates.
Here is a link if you need more info: http://www.sars.gov.za/ClientSegment...io-Diesel.aspx
Be careful, If I recall correctly you would need to be the owner of the Farm. So if you are a contractor working in forestry then you would not qualify for Diesel rebate as you do not own the land.

Hi
I can certainly help you with this matter. I assist with the compliance requirements for Diesel Refund claims. This system is aimed at providing relief to a handful of industry. Unfortunately, many operations do not get the benefit they are entitled to because of the cumbersome requirements.
Depending on Diesel volumes, this Rebate can provide substantial cash return, if administered compliantly.
If you would like we can discuss your Diesel Refund claim process via email or phone and if necessary I can examine your system from Diesel receipts to usage claims, to assess whether you have any vulnerabilities.
SARS has rigid requirements for this system so compliant logging and record keeping is very important and while its a cumbersome requirement it is not complicated.
In simple terms Levies charged on fuel purchases are refundable for certain industries. This can be calculated based on usage records kept. I can advise you on this and help you put it all together.
PM me should you be interested in an examination of this area in your business.
