    VAT and Pastel Cashbook

Hi there, I am new to Pastel.
    Just a quick question.
If I am capturing my cashbook and there is an item like Uber, how do I capture it properly? ie if there is vat involved I would select 1 (14%)in the tax column, but if there is no VAT, do I select 0 as the tax type? I don't want my VAT report to be wrong.

Hi crobbertse123 - Yes. 01 if there is VAT involved and it is a "vatable" item ... and 00 if there is no VAT or if the item is not "vatable".
