    Back Payment of UIF

We stopped paying UIF contributions for our 2 day a week domestic about 10 years ago. She's talking about retiring at 60 later this year and claiming UIF.
Any advise on how we go about this?

As a domestic employer, you can pay contributions every 6 months. I suggest register and pay a 6 month return.

Thanks Dave A, the problem is that my wife has previously registered our domestic some years ago.

Apparently she stopped our portion when uFiling started. Does that help.

Register on uFiling and file a return.

Who knows, but nothing ventured.. It seems it's not uncommon in SA for there to be a gap between theory and how things work out in the end.
