    Third party claims

So a few years ago I was a victim of a hit and run. In the hospital a third party claim rep came to me and ask if they may help me with a claim and I gave them consent to help me, I mean what do I got to loose....

After four years I won my claim but I have a feeling that they may take alot of it.
Every time I leave an email they dont answer I have a feeling they're afraid I might keep it on black and white. And when I phone they cant say what im going to get out. The claim is roughly over R300 000. Is there anyone who can tell me how much the lawyers should take and how much will I get out if they do it accordingly to the books if I can place it in words like that. Please no rude comments

    greetings

I am told they take 40%; at least that's what the guys that advertise on TV supposedly take.
