    EASYFILE 201702

    Good day

Am I the only 1 struggling with the submission of IRP5' s for 2017-02.
After phoning SARS 5 times, I am still no closer to a solution.

Could anybody please post the update version of all the relevant programs needed, or a short list on how to proceed.
    I have downloaded SARS EASYFILE 6.74, and JAVA 7.67, 7.69 and 7, 80 and 8,31 .

If I import the IRP 5 from Pastel, and I then go to the view all employees page, the last tab that you can select is 2016-08.
2017-02 doesn't appear on the dropdown menu.

    Please help!!!!

Hi Tanya, Did you uninstall your previous version before loading the new one?

Hi Tanya - I remember that happening to me and I was totally thrown. If I remember I redid the Pastel IRP.17, restored the data backup that Easyfile makes before it installs and then imported the latest IRP.17 and that did it for me. Good luck.

Have you gone to Declaration (in the left hand side menu) and loaded the 2017-02 return?

I found the mistake, and have successfully imported the IRP5's and submitted to SARS. It was such a useless part - After importing the payroll, you now need to go onto ADMIN EMPLOYER - previously only two options were available, Add Employer, and Update employer. SARS has now added a 3rd option CHANGE EMPLOYER - You need to click on this , although you are already working on the correct database. As soon as you have selected CHANGE EMPLOYER, the 201702 tabs are available on the view employee screens, and the IRP5's are also updated to the employee.

Sincerely hope that no one else will experience so much frustration as I did in this past week , and that this helps !!
