    Press Offices

    Hi ALl

There has been much said about the various internet based marketing approaches, I have just subscribed to a new press office "approach" through Cape Business News.

This is the link to my "press office" on their site. You may want to investigate for your own use in future.

Now that had me scratching my head for a while. I assume window trouble.

But I think this is an interesting related link that might save a bit of stumbling around in the dark, by the looks of things.

    Dave?

From their front page there are links to various "press offices" Each press office is branded for each individual company. Resides on the cbn website.

It was the Hi ALI that got me scratching my head. Your link shows your "press office". The one I posted gives the cost and benefit details and leads to sign-up.

I assume between all that we got it covered

    Interesting concept.

Debbie, when did you sign up and what has come your way so far in regards to CBN? What I'm asking is, have you seen a huge increase in hits to your site, have you had interested parties contact you mentioning seeing you on CBN?

I think it's a great idea in broad terms, but being a bit narrowed down by having Cape Town in all of the headers....

    Your feedback is appreciated!

    Hi

Okay, CBN = Cape Business News - great for me because about 50% of my business is in the Cape.

Approximately 1000 viewers in 3 days. Click through rate only 1%, but then it is not really necessary and my editorial writing skills and ideas need to be honed. Enquiries straight off site approximately 2% at this stage - very new project for us, I will be adding another editorial soon and once I am at number 4 I hope to have a better feel for what works and what doesn't.

I spoke to a partner the other day who mentioned that the Saturday Star in JHB is the ONLY hard copy paper that gives him any advertising response - and then it needs to be in editorial format. Waiting period approx 2 to 3 months!
