Standard bank internet banking offline again?

Is it just me or is the entire Standard Bank website dead now?

I called the Asset finance part of Standard Bank looking for a log book and Jabulani said that the whole of Standard Bank is down.We just managed to pay wages online in time.

The scary part is I get a message "problem with banking app" I do a credit card payment using my laptop and I get a message payment successful without the one time password 😳

My concern with all these "glitches" lately is how safe is your money with Standard bank.

That is scary ians, but did it really come off or was the 'successful message " maybe a hoax?

Our place of residence should have to be proved once every couple of years. Not by each bank and financial institution. Once by a central organisation, that all financial institutions have access to. Then the banks only have to verify who we are which should be done by biometrics in seconds, every few years for each institution.
