Last years rate, call out fee R 710 which includes the first half and hour, then R450 per hour ex vat. R4.50 per km. IF you are an electrical contracting company and not charging at least this rate, then you are the cause of the problems in the industry and I hope you are removed or issued all sorts of orders because you are not following correct procedure or dropping unskilled labour on site.

Minimum of R950 for an "inspection report" (note this is for report only) the coc will be included at no additional cost if the inspection report indicates not faults, for a standard 3 bedroom house. As I mentioned above, if you are not charging at least this rate, then you cant be doing the inspection correctly, considering how long it takes to fill out the multi page document.

Your rates are bang on. Here in Joburg we charge a little more.
My inspection for a small townhouse would be R850,00 and increase on a sliding scale as per the size of the electrical installation.
COC not included as this takes an extra 30 to 45 minutes to assemble
To make a mistake is human, to learn from that mistake is knowledge and knowledge is strength.
