is it wrong to be obsessed with my reputation?

I've got a bit of a problem...every time I log onto The Forum SA I have a stong need to check whether my reputation points have increased!

    Doctor, what can I do?

    Dear Obsessive,

Suggest you contact a guy by the name of Duncan at Engineer Simplicity - He does free problem analysis and definitely has the answer for this one inside himself.

Problem has also been known to go away by not logging in, in the first place - This can however create side effects such as other emotional and paranoia problems related to the first problem.

Lastly one has to review the level of reputation in the first place - if it was never there - should be no problem.

Probably only a critical problem if you're not getting any Now where've I heard that before?

I've still got to debug why the commentary part of the reputation ranking doesn't show - at the moment we're all on the "pip" system (that/those little green squares at the top right hand corner of each post).
