Pastel Tax Reports

Hi All,

Can anybody please help me. I processed taxable transactions on Pastel Express. When I want to view the tax reports it says: "no tax transactions could be found for the tax period"?

There are so many possible reasons for this, based on the little information that you have provided, but I will start off with some clarification questions.

What version of Xpress are you using?

I presume that you used tax codes for the taxable transactions and that you updated the transactions?

When you ran the tax report, did it correspond with the financial periods in which you processed the transactions?

When you ran the tax report, did you ensure that you included the full range of the tax codes?

Hi Neville,

I am using Xpress 12.1.4.
I used Tax type "01" - Standard 14% VAT and updated
If I go to the General Ledger - Transactions - Ledger by Entry Type - 9500/000 - I can see all the transactions that I processed
I use to work on Pastel Accounting so I did all my processing exactly the same on Xpress
